Current Events:
Current Scenario: Hunt for the Khatvanga

Session One: Each of the characters has been given a reason to pursue a sceptre known as a khatvanga.  Several of them are probably working at odds and don't know it yet.  The group has learned that a fellow called 'Augie', while usually a good source of information on this kind of thing, doesn't know where the khatvanga can be found, but he gives them what information he does have before Kara has him flown out of the area for his own safety.  A representative of the Masons has purchased the sceptre on eBay and the characters know when and where the delivery is to be made.

Session Two: Police, set on the group by an unknown force, try to raid one of Kara's safehouse apartments (which happens to be in the same building the sceptre was to be delivered to) and set off her wards, resulting in the building burning down.

Session Three: When the characters escape from the cops, they wind up at Kara's personal residence, an old mansion in Cheltenham, where they hold a brief discussion of their situation before black-clad assassins storm the place.  The characters manage to kill or drive off their assailants, though Kara's living room now looks like a slaughterhouse.

Session Four: After a night's rest, they set off in search of the new delivery location for the khatvanga: a warehouse near the docks.  Here they stake out the delivery and when the parties arrive, chaos ensues, ending with the Masons' representative, Frank Black, attempting to open a portal, but losing control of his magic...

This is called a cliffhanger.  I kick you, Seth. ;)
